Good afternoon Parents/Guardians,

Based on the latest health advice as at 21 July, Phase 5 of the WA COVID-19 roadmap, due to be implemented on Saturday, 18 July, has been pushed back. Phase 5 would see remaining restrictions removed, except WA’s hard border and access to remote Aboriginal communities. It would also see the removal of WA’s 2 square metre rule and the 50 per cent capacity for our major venues. It has been announced this afternoon that a move to Phase 5 will be delayed at least another two weeks.

As a gentle reminder, if at any stage someone in your household has travelled interstate and is returning, we request students to remain at home if self-isolation is required for an immediate family member and it is being done at the home residence.

We would like to thank the College community for their patience in regards to Semester 1 reports. As indicated, due to the disruption caused by COVID-19 earlier in the year these were delayed to ensure that students and teachers had adequate time and opportunity to conduct and mark assessments during the first semester.

Semester 1 reports are now available. For students in Primary years, these have been physically distributed this afternoon. For students in Years 7-10, these can be viewed and downloaded from SEQTA Engage (for parents) or SEQTA Learn (for students).

As a reminder for parents of secondary students – if you have not already, you will need to use the link from SEQTA emailed on Wednesday morning to activate your new SEQTA Engage account so that you can access reports. If you have any issues accessing SEQTA Engage, please contact the College.

Please remember that all of the updates we have sent you so far are available to read via our News page on our website, accessible by clicking here.

Have a lovely weekend,

Rob Gratton and Tracy Holmes
