Our State-of-the-Art Facilities Provide Balance 

Our modern Sports Centre is a busy and bustling facility providing outstanding opportunities for our students through sport and recreation. A supervised and fully equipped fitness centre enhances the health and wellbeing of students. Sports catered for include basketball, volleyball, netball, badminton and many more. 

Our other College facilities include:

  • The Lakes Café, offering a regularly-changing healthy menu, and including an online ordering service for parents.
  • The Lakes Theatre, which is the largest indoor performing arts venue in the Bindjareb Region.
  • An award-winning Early Learning Centre, containing purpose-built learning spaces and an extensive outdoor play area. 
  • A state-of the-art STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Centre, housing outstanding and modern learning facilities.
  • State-of-the-art IT and computer laboratories.
  • Fully-resourced libraries for both Primary and Secondary Colleges.
  • Shaded playgrounds for our Early Childhood and Primary students.
  • A large oval and a rectangular playing field.

The Lakes Theatre foyer, as well as the adjacent STEAM Centre, also houses an extensive art collection, with exemplary pieces by Mandurah Baptist College’s secondary students making up this outstanding display. 

The Lakes Theatre

The Lakes Theatre is a hub of activity on a daily basis and provides a fantastic stage for the students of our award-winning Secondary School Drama and Music Departments to develop performance skills and experience. 

College events such as both Secondary and Primary School assemblies and high-end drama performances are hosted in air-conditioned comfort. We are proud of our students who regularly win local and state awards in Visual and Performing Arts, Media and Design. 

The Lakes Theatre foyer, as well as the adjacent STEAM Centre, also houses an extensive art collection, with exemplary pieces by Mandurah Baptist College’s secondary students making up this outstanding display. 

With a seating capacity of 1,200 people, it is the largest indoor performing arts venue in the Bindjareb Region. 

The Lakes Theatre is also available for hire, and has hosted national and international touring artists. The Lakes Theatre can cater for all forms of entertainment, including music, dance, theatre, religious events, conferences, and seminars.
